With a huge percussion section leading the way (Rodolfo Hechavarria Despaigne Panga, Boubacar Gaye) powerful vocals from Gambian superstar Yusupha Ngum, melodic belafon from Bassidi Koné and a talented rhythm section, Ausecuma Beats creates incredible concoction of Afrobeat, soul, jazz, and funk, held together by undeniable Afro rhythms and blended with a rich Cuban musical tradition of mambo, and salsa - adding a dash of Caribbean spice to the mix.
The band is comprised of Master musicians from around the globe highlighting diversity, unity and collaboration from three continents. The music will have you moving from the first strike of the drum.

Despite the infancy of the band, they have made great inroads into establishing themselves as one of the best live bands in Melbourne and have appeared at several festivals and events including: Amnesty International - Music for Refugees, Foreign Brothers Flight 106.7 to Africa, Victoria’s Multicultural Festival, City of Melbourne Sunset Series, Come Together Festival as well as live performances at Melbourne venues and a long-standing residency at Bar Oussou.
